The History of Film Music |

24 and 25 April 2003 at the isf international filmschool in Cologne
Film and music have always been connected tightly to each other. In more than 100 years of film history various approaches of integrating music into films developed, depending on criteria such as genre, technical equipment, and target audience of a film. For the most part, the cornerstones of these approaches are still followed today.
During this two-day seminar by Eyes & Ears of Europe and ifs - internationale filmschule köln, Anselm C. Kreuzer, composer and music scholar, will introduce and discuss the history of film music. He will show film sequences to illustrate his theories.
This event is primarily aimed at composers and sound designers as well as TV teams, post and production firms, agencies and consultants who want to gain insight into the history of film music. Students and trainees who are interested in films and music are also very welcome.
Please note that the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 25.
