The notion of convergence that focuses primarily on technology aims at an integration of the users' access to different typical media such as TV, film, radio, internet and telephony. Powerful and efficient forms of data processing provide new opportunities of interaction for a growing number of viewers and users. As a consequence, different content suppliers within today's multi-channel world of information, entertainment and communication try to attract the media users - in local, regional, national as well as international dimensions.
During this two-day seminar by Eyes & Ears of Europe and BBDO InterOne we will discuss how converging technology can meet the demands of potential users. Experienced design, promotion and marketing professionals from TV stations, multimedia, design and advertising agencies, as well as technology suppliers, will focus on the following questions: What do we know about the current habits and future needs of media users? What kind of media and communication products will be able to convince future consumers to use the opportunities supplied by foreseeable convergence? And which tasks and challenges will await the areas of design, promotion and marketing of the audiovisual media with regard to the scenarios of convergent and complementary offers?
This event is primarily aimed at TV teams, post and productions firms, design companies and agencies. Students and trainees who are interested in the media are also very welcome. Please note that the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 20.
