Status quo & Perspectives of News and Information Design for Television |

20 and 21 October 2005 at SF DRS in Zurich

Together with the increasing number of news and information offers in the audiovisual media the TV audience's need for an understandable and, at the same time, clear and explanatory presentation of complex facts also grows. Competitors are using the corresponding differentiated audiovisual programme elements in news programmes and information segments to the favour of spectators or users. The spectrum ranges from programme openers, scenography, props, information graphics and animations to specific adaptations for Internet or mobile devices.
In the course of this two-day event organised by Eyes & Ears of Europe and Schweizer Fernsehen DRS in Zurich re-known experts in design will discuss the status quo and the perspectives of news and information design for TV within the context of cross media strategies by referring to specific examples.
This event is primarily aimed at employees of media and communication companies, (post) production firms, design studios, consultancies, marketing, advertising and dialogue agencies wishing to learn more about these issues. Students and trainees are also warmly welcome. Please note that the number of participants is limited to a maximum number of 30.
The seminar language will be German.
